Why are these songs important to you? How or where did you first hear or encounter them?
These songs are important to me because they describe who I am as a person, my beliefs and how I was grew up.  The lyrics in these songs relate to me throughout the years.
What does your playlist say about who you are? How much do your choices reflect your sense of yourself?
My playlist reflects who I am as a person and who I want to be.  It shows my beliefs and interests.  My choices of these songs reflect a sense of myself because I chose different types of music that have different meanings as well as artists that have a very different interpretation of music.
What would people learn about you from listening to your playlist? What wouldn’t they be able to learn?
I think that people would learn what interests me and get an idea of what my life was like from previous years until now.  They would not be able to learn specific details about my family and I.

What assumptions (correct or incorrect) might they make about you based on your playlist?
People might assume that I have a strong character and am an outgoing person.

Conclude your description with a paragraph that answers this question:
What does your playlist indicate or suggest about your connection to something larger?
Yes, I know that “something larger” is a vague concept; base your response on your interpretation of “something larger.”

My playlist suggests the good and bad in life.  Throughout life we go through hard times and challenges that are thrown at us.   My hope was for my playlist to demonstrate the things that help us get through those times and challenges. Not only does my playlist reflect on me, but it reflects the world we live in today as well.

  1. I love how different some of the genres of your songs are from one another! Rise, by Katy Perry, is also one of my favorite songs!
